Preaching God’s Word in the Early Church
Biblical preaching has been a hallmark of healthy churches since the time of the Apostles and expansion of the early church. In this session, Dr. Haykin considers the contributions of some of the great preachers in the early church and evaluates what lessons can be drawn for the church today.

Michael Haykin
Dr. Michael A.G. Haykin is professor of church history at and biblical spirituality and director of the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He is author of several books, including Rediscovering the Church Fathers, The Christian Lover, and Eight Women of Faith.
